Hear it with your system Choosing an amplifier is about how it works with your speakers, sources and listening room. Contact James to discuss your current system and arrange a home demonstration across Suffolk and Essex. Considering an upgrade? Ask about part-exchange for your existing equipment.
Amplifier design The Diablo 333 uses a true dual-mono configuration, zero global negative feedback and a 43-step balanced relay volume attenuator. Ultra-fast, low-capacitance pre-driver transistors and ten high-power output transistors per channel form part of its amplifier design.
Connections and everyday use Two balanced XLR inputs and two RCA inputs accommodate your sources. Fixed-level AV throughput supports integration with a surround preamplifier. A 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, infrared remote control and input level matching make system operation straightforward. Firmware can be upgraded through the rear USB 2.0 service socket.
Optional DAC-3 digital module The optional DAC-3 module adds an ESS ES9039PRO converter, seven selectable PCM digital filters and USB, S/PDIF, AES/EBU and optical digital inputs. Ask us to confirm the configuration and total price for the options you require.
Optional PS-3 phono module The optional PS-3 module supports moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, with MM/MC selection through the amplifier menu and externally accessible MC loading switches. Its balanced, discrete circuitry uses a dual-mono Class A topology without global negative feedback.
